Camping in Yellowstone

Yes you read that right we went camping. I know most think I do not at all look like the camping type, which you're probably right but we had the opportunity to borrow some friends camper trailer. It was kind of last minute but I'm so glad we did it and the kids totally loved it. I loved being less stressed about going to tons of different things and being stressed by traffic. It was a good trip. Didn't end that great with a stripped tire in Idaho Falls, scrapped the side of that borrowed trailer and it took us WAY too long to get home. But we had great memories with the kids.
Exploring with Daddy!

Southern end of Yellowstone Lake by our campsite
I hardly ever get a picture of her doing something sweet and good. I thought it was so cute how she was playing on the bed and being good, for once!

Wednesday
She was beyond bored by the end of our hour long wait. This is Ryan's I'm-trying-not-to-kill-this-child- smile
I just couldn't believe how many people were waiting for Old Faithful to go off and only last less than 30 seconds. It was a long wait for our kids in my opinion not really worth it but at least we can say we saw it.

Another gieser behind Old Faithful that went off a few minutes before. This one lasted way longer and was pretty cool.

Thursday
Reese had a tooth pulled the day we left and while still under drugs and numbness he bit the heck out of the inside of his lip.

Ryan and his precious dutch oven

Chili for Dinner!! YUMMY

The older kids and Ryan went off on a "3 hour tour" in the afternoon while the babies and I stayed back and rested. He didn't take the camera so there aren't any pictures of their adventure. Poor kids had to hike almost 2 1/2 miles each way to get to this illusive fishing spot. Yeah they didn't catch anything, poor kids!
FRIDAY
Saw this guy while driving back from our daily adventures. So gorgeous!

Fishing Bridge
Upper/Lower Falls the hike seemed steep so we got about 20 feet down and took this picture.
Fishing Bridge
Ryno and Lynders-Fishing Bridge

Ellie at Fishing Bridge
(That lovely munched lip was from our first day, this kid can't go longer than a few days without smacking something on her face.)
