The Worlds Greatest

Most of you know that Utah has been slammed this year with lots of snow. In the 9 years I have lived in Utah this is by far the worst winter. It's beautiful but also very annoying to have a 3 foot snow drift and about 7-8 inches in our driveway alone. So since moving to the new house we have yet to invest in a 4-wheeler with a plow blade and so here is our wonderful alternative that has showed up a few times at our house. His name is Brother Gerber and he's the High Priest group leader for our new ward. The first snow we had he was out there plowing away down our street and up each of the neighbors driveways. And today when I came home there was our magical plow elf out there again plowing the neighborhood. Mind you he is not paid by the city, which should be doing it, he is merely doing this huge act of kindness as service to all of us. I can't express how sweet this man is and how grateful I feel for him and his kind heart. So this is a way to thank him, and of course I'm thinking up a great gift for our plow elf!! :)

Our front walkway! The snow drift was up to about 2 feet high.

Yes those are our trash cans that got buried on Sunday.

Baby Hailey!

I just couldn't resist bragging about this precious addition to the Newcomer family, well the Ryan and Lacey Costner family! Lacey had Hailey Kay Friday evening and we rushed right up there to see her. This picture was taken just a few hours after she was born and she was the sweetest thing! I like Rebecca just LOVE newborns, they have this amazing smell and they're just so tiny, you can snuggle them for hours. I guess it's a good thing I'll have one of my own in a few months!!

Hello friends and family! I thought I would finally take the chance to alleviate any Newcomer family gossip and update on Ryan's work situation. No he did not loose his job with Firstline. We don't or would we ever move to Arizona and we are fine financially!! :) Firstline made a decision to merge with another alarm company in Utah Valley and Ryan did not see himself with that company. We have learned so much and we definitely feel blessed for the opportunities that were opened up to us because of Firstline. This was just our time to part ways. After about two weeks of praying (yes we do pray!) we found the right company to continue our many years of alarm experience with. Ryan is very happy about starting a new position wth Platinum Protection and feels like this will be the best place for him. We've had a weird two weeks of wondering and hoping that something would work out and it has, we both feel very blessed to be in this position. We love you all! Take care!

Family Pictures

About a month ago Ryan and I finally decided it was time to have a nice professional family picture taken. I think the last professional one we had taken of us was when Reese was a baby, I know lame!! So thank goodness for a really good friend who is an awesome photographer she took these beautiful pictures of us!! Thank you Haley!! And these were supposed to make it out for Christmas cards but if you've read my previous blogs I just didn't have time to send those out.
