Mother's Day

I came up with a new tradition, I'd like to take a picture with the kids and I every Mothers Day from now on. I'm usually the one taking pictures but thought it would be a nice way to have at least one picture with just the kid and I. So here I am all pregnant with all my babies, even our feistiest one, little Sherman! I hope everyone had a wonderful Mothers Day!!

I'm so grateful for my mom, she's the most amazing person I know. She's extremely smart and also very wise! Most would say my mom is shy but she's not she just isn't a talker, she's one of those strong silent types. I'm really grateful my parents live here now it's so nice to have them close and see them whenever we want. I'm also so happy my kids have a great relationship with them and love to go play at Papa's "Park"!

I'm also grateful for Ryan's mom, Debbie. She raised such wonderful children and is an awesome grandma. She does so much and doesn't get the thanks she needs but we're so thankful to her for the time she's spent with the kids and all she does for everyone else.

7 Years!

Ryan and I celebrated our 7th anniversary on Sunday, with Sherman coming home on Saturday we celebrated on Friday. One of our most awesome babysitters stepped in to volunteer to watch our kiddles so Ryan and I could go out to eat and have a few hours to ourselves. Thank you so much Ryan and Lacey, and Hailey for enduring the "toys" cousin Lauren brought to you! I'm so grateful for Ryan and all he does for me and our little family. He's such a great dad and husband. He's my best friend and I love bugging him during the day and he puts up with my endless phone calls! Happy Anniversary Handsome Hubby!!
So this morning I got a text from him to say he had been robbed in his hotel room at 3am while in Atlanta. I freaked out and called him right away, he said he's fine and that nothing really happened other than him waking up to a dark figure in his room taking the money out of his wallet. He happened to have over $100 because of the money he took out to pay for Sherman on Saturday. He pretty much never carries cash on him and especially not ever that much. I'm secretly grateful he had that money in there cause the person didn't take anything else other than the cash. I haven't heard from him since early this morning because the reason he is in Atlanta is for a liscensing test, what are the odds an alarm guy gets robbed. Anyway thats the latest with us, I feel so bad for Ryan but he is such a trooper!

Sherman Beuregard (Ryan and Randy got their way, this middle name will be on his AKC registration) Newcomer came to our home on Saturday May 3, 2008.

On Saturday afternoon we drove back out to Midway to pick up our littlest man Sherman from his breeder. He is more darling than the pictures portrayed. He is soooo fun, we just love him to pieces, even though he has made his "mark" on the carpet already. Thank goodness for good carpet cleaning products! He's doing well and I must say other than the carpet peeing he is not as needy as a newborn! We've only had him for a few days so other than just loving these last few days there isn't a whole lot to talk about. Here are some pictures to show you how cute he is.

Sherman Newcomer-sorry Ryan and Randy no Beaugard!

For over a month and then some Ryan and I have been debating getting a dog, and if you are a Newcomer or know anything about their dog past a basset hound was a must! There was the obvious puppy mills we could have gotten one from but we wanted to find a breeder here in Utah and pick him out for ourselves. Well we finally found a breeder in Midway and called her up and she had 2 males and 7 females. On Saturday while I was at a bridal shower the kids and Ryan took a drive to Midway, not too far just a 30 minute drive!! The breeder is awesome and has a whole breeder clinic/house dedicated to her business. I have only gotten to see pictures of him since like I said I wasn't there. But from the 4 pictures Ryan sent me he is so dang cute. He isn't Festus, the Newcomers beloved basset from Washington but he will do! He's not ready yet, he'll be 6 weeks on Saturday so thats when we'll pick him up and bring him home to this craziness! I'll take more pictures when we get him home and post them but here are a few to show you how cute he is!
