Lyndi's blessing

If anyone remembers that Ellie and I weren't at church when they called Ryan up to give Ellie her blessing you will be proud that I was actually ready and early to church this past Sunday. Of course it makes it easier with 1pm church and there really is no excuse for being late. Anyway the blessing was beautiful, Ryan is an old pro by now. Reese had a bloody nose in the middle of sacrament. Then they had to call me out in the middle of Relief Society because Reese was rocking in his chair during sharing time and fell back and smashed his finger in his chair. He was crying/screaming and I'm surprised the whole church didn't hear him. Story of my life!

The dress Lyndi is wearing was made by Ryan's mom Debbie and it turned out beautifully. We had fun picking the pattern and fabric and I'm so grateful for her talents and willingness to make this dress.

My good friend Amy is really an amazing photographer. She did our family pictures way back when Ryan had a few extra pounds on him :)! He'd be mad if I put a link to those old pictures but regardless I love her photography.
When I had Lyndi I really wanted to get some pictures of her done. I had been putting them off and should have done them when she was still super tiny and sleepy. So Amy came over on my birthday (Feb 1) and snapped some shots of our little Lyndi Lou. Thank goodness we got some when she was still kind of small unfortunately she wasn't really sleepy at all. Little stinker! :) But she got some great ones and here they are. Thanks Amy these are precious memories for me!

Ryan's sassy and almost always feisty Grandma Sprague passed away on Wednesday February 24. We're sad to see her go but know she is so happy to be back with her eternal companion after 30 years of separation.

Happy Birthday Lauren

I'm a few days late posting about Laurens 5th Birthday. We had a tea party/luncheon for her birthday since having tons of little 5 year olds running around my house gave me anxiety. There is a fancy store here in Highland called Dear Lizzie and I love it mostly for the fun jewelry they have but they also have a great bistro inside as well. So we had a luncheon with her friends and it was perfect. They sat and chatted about which princess to be and seemed to have a good time.
We're so grateful for our Dado. We call her Dado because that was her first word and Dado was "dad" or Ryan. Everytime she saw him she'd say "Dado!" Lauren was definitely our calm after a crazy crazy Roo storm. I tell everyone I needed Lauren cause Reese and his toddler years almost prevented us from ever having more children. But then came Lauren and she was our calm child. When she was a toddler we called her Mona Lisa, she never smiled for anyone and when she did it was that half almost none existant smile. She was hilarious, not friendly at all but just there! She is so good with her sisters especially Ellie. She's really stepped up and played with Ellie since we had Lyndi. Ellie isn't always so nice to her but she keeps on playing with her, why I don't know maybe she has more patience. Anyway we're grateful we have our Loli Bell and all her drama!
