Happy 2nd Birthday Ellie

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELEANOR LACEY!!!

(Oh she was so cute and tiny! And had the most hair of any of our kids, I loved it)

It has been a very fast 2 years with this little girl. I keep thinking it should be longer with all the "fun" things this one has put us through.
Our daily Ellie antics include...
1. When she first wakes up she hollers "MOM!!" over and over until I come get her.
2. When you say "I love you Ellie!" she says, "I know!"- she's been saying this for a while now, I don't know where she learned it!
3. Anytime someone gets too close to her or the kids are bothering her she says, "Go AWAY!"
4. "I watcha Mickey!" She LOVES Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and there's this wonderful feature on DVR where you press play at the beginning of the series of recordings and it plays ALL of them, for hours and hours!! I'm a bad mom but not thaaat bad, she only watches 2 a morning.
5. "Reesie cerreeall?"

She's smacked her head countless times and pretty bad too. She looks like a beaten child. Which most people would think we do since she is our most challenging one yet but honestly she does that all on her own.
But on a good note she is so sweet, when she's not screaming at the top of her lungs. She actually made it ALL the way through sacrament on Sunday without being taken out. We were SOOOO proud. She says "Tank Uuu!" without us even teaching her. And gives hugs without being asked or begged. We love our little Boogie, Ellers the Bellers, etc. She brings spice and spunk to our lives and we wouldn't have it any other way.

All the happenings

A lot has been going on. I had a day or so where I blogged like 3 times in one day trying to catch up. Now I'm behind again, arggghhh. Well get ready for picture overload.

Reese's Baptism
This is so ultra blurry, and obviously isn't straight. Thats what happens when someone else takes your big family picture!

My kiddles minus Lyndi Lou
My handsome little dude! This picture was displayed at his baptism

Other happenings...

Hecky- thats her new nickname. Previously she has been called H-ELLie, but that sounds so mean so I've been calling her Hecky, not that it's any better! She got her cast off on June 3rd. Thankfully we haven't made another trip to the ER or the orthopedic surgeons office.

Reese is done with 2nd grade, watch out 3rd grade here comes Reese! :)

Reese and his wonderfully patient teacher Mrs. Covington on the last day of school

Lauren is all done with preschool! She was such a good girl this year. I'm so proud of how mature she has become since Lyndi was born and how big of a help she is to Ellie, even when she's nasty to her. She'll start kindergarten this fall, it's flown by for me.

Edible

Lyndi is now 4 months, chubby as chubby can get. She had her check-up and shots on Friday, she's 14 lbs 8 oz and 24 inches long. Still so sweet and giggled for Lauren today. Lauren is her new best friend. We love her to pieces.

Ellers Broken Arm

Most have seen her pictures on FB but here are a few more. Grandma Debbie was trying to have a fun tea party with all my girls and this was the end result of a good intention. Ellie was standing on a stool in the kitchen and fell off onto a ceramic tile floor. She braced herself with her left hand and snapped her wrist bone and fractured her other bone. Poor Debbie had to call for an ambulance and they brought her to American Fork Hospital. She was a pretty good sport considering. Although she wasn't too thrilled about having her IV placed twice. But after 3 hours at the ER she has her temporary cast and I made her a new and improved sling. Which by the way holds things like a bag of apple slices! :) This Friday she'll get her hard cast and we'll see how her wrist is healing.
