Childrens Discovery Museum

Today was a lot of fun. Ryan and I have been debating whether or not to go to the new Children's Discovery Museum in Salt Lake at the Gateway shopping center. It was slightly expensive but we bit the bullet and went anyway. Lacey came with us which it's always fun to hang out with her and of course the kids love her beyond belief!!Too bad it was rainy and occasionally snowing so it seemed very crowded. But the kids had a blast and I think we got our moneys worth. Here are some pictures I took. Love to everyone!

2 Days from H...!!

Hello friends and family! Here you go Rebecca! Nothing new or fun has happened and sadly I can not report that the townhouse is sold!!! :( But I can report on some not so fun stuff that happened this week. Reese's wonderful Tuesday!!! On Tuesday Reese got in trouble for yelling at his teacher!!!!!!!!! Yes he yelled at her cause someone tattle-tailed on him and he tried lying about it and got upset, obviously!! So he got a nice little talking to in the 10 minutes it takes for me to drive home. Then I thought I would be a semi-nice mommy and let him play with his "girl" friend, Brinley from across the street. Needless to say his bad attitude spilled over into playing and called Brinley a not so nice name and was sent to his room for the rest of the evening. He did good until Ryan, the big pushover that he is let him out. Of course he couldn't last 10 minutes without irritating his sister. But at least that day ended! Wednesday morning we missed a phone call and joked that it would be the showing service saying they wanted to show the house in an hour. No joke it was the showing service but thank goodness they weren't showing it until 3-4pm. But of course I counted on Ryan staying home for a little bit to help me out and clean up. NOOOO not the case. He took off by 9:30. I was left to clean the house but if anyone knows me I'm slightly OCD and have to have the house perfect for a showing. And if you also know me well my house is never in perfect order. There are always kids stuff EVERYWHERE!!! So it literally took me all the time from 9:30 until I was supposed to leave to take Reese to school at 12:30. Of course right as we are leaving I feel Laurens undies and feel that she has "tinkled" all over herself and wonder where in the world she has done her duty. Mind you I'm already late to take Reese to school!!! I search the house and find that she has "showered" my rug in our Master Bath and the stool in front of the toilet has all the pee puddled up on it. I think by that time I've wanted to rip my hair out and scream, maybe I did!!! j/k So by this time it is 12:40 and Reese starts school at that time but I figure maybe he could be a little late no big deal, oh but then I remember that in all my cleaning furry I have neglected to feed my children! I think I was on the verge of tears but realized it was not a big deal and that Reese missing one day of school was okay! And that a quick trip to McDonalds would be a perfect cure for the hungry rugrats and their mother on a verge of a nervous breakdown. Boy McDonalds did the trick!! Reese missed school no big deal and we showed the house, which was probably a complete waste of time but oh well. Oh and Reese's teacher called after school on Wed. worried that the reason he stayed home was because of the "incident" as she put it! I'll cross my fingers next week is a better week!! We hope everyone is doing well and we send our love to all!!

If you read my blog you most likely read Rebecca's! So I'm sure everyone knew we were out in North Carolina last week! But I thought this picture was hilarious! I doubt Randy would like me posting a picture like this but hey at least it isn't as bad as those nude Barbie's on Rebecca's blog!! hahaha Ryan and I had so much fun in North Carolina and it was nice to have a few days together without the kids.

Labor Day Luau!!

We had tons of fun at the Thanksgiving Point Labor Day Luau. We decided to take the kids with us and Lauren and Reagan just giggled and twirled around the whole time. Funny what a small world this is but I ran into a good friend that was the Elders Quorum Pres when I was the Relief Society Pres, he was actually one of the dancers at the luau! Reese was slightly restless but my dad gave him the binoculars and he just sat still for the rest of the evening! Anyway here are a few pictures from last night! We hope everyone is doing well!!
