Twilight and Cornea Ulcer

Hello hello, well I guess I'm not such a bad blogger after all!!

Yes I was one of the crazy's that went to the opening of Twilight last night or this morning! At the last minute I found tickets at the Cinemark near my house and called my good friend Emily to see if she would want to come with me. I picked her up at 9:45pm and we headed over to the theater. Silly Ryan thought we were going WAY too early but when we got there the line was really long. And I felt pretty good about going when we did after talking to Lacey, Ryan's sister who went at 7pm!! Crazy Lacey! :) The movie was eeehhh. I kind of knew it would have a hard time capturing the feeling of Stephenie Meyers vision in her books and that is exactly what it was. It was a little disappointing and it felt like a lower budget film. I'm sorry to say that Kristen Stewart did a crappy job and Robert Pattinson was ok. The most riveting part of the evening was the previews and that's about it! Okay on a side note it was a little weird they showed the FREAKY movie trailer for Unborn and then a new kids movie 2 after that. WEIRD! Needless to say I had a blast with my friend Emily and I'm dog tired this morning after getting home around 2:45am.

So because I was a crazy and went to this midnight showing I will explain my second topic on my title. Last night my left eye was bothering me but I figured I'd be okay and it wasn't too bad. It was red and hurting but I didn't bring my glasses so I just dealt with it. By the middle of the movie my eye was killing me and I could hardly keep it open and keep it from watering. When I got home after the movie my eye was completely red and blood shot looking. I took my contacts out and went to bed. I woke up this morning and it felt and looked the same. I was really worried something was really wrong with my eye so Ryan stayed home and took me to the doctors. I have an ulcer on my cornea basically due to bacteria in my eye. It hurts really bad and looks even worse. All for the sake of going to a midnight showing of a not so great movie! Oh well, good times with a good friend and a half way decent movie! Love to all!

Bad blogger!

I know I am a bad blogger friend but I figured I would do some type of blog just so I don't go another month without blogging. We FINALLY got a new computer after many years of not having a decent desktop. We had one years ago but since then we have just used laptop after laptop, Ryan goes from one to the next like a pair of undies! :) My latest hand me down was the old basic Firstline "gift" laptop and the cord sucked rocks! It was such a junker you couldn't even move the computer a fraction of an inch without it shutting down completely with nothing saved! Very fun when I'm in the middle of doing bills! So here's to our new computer! We love you nice new friend!

(Mr. Obnoxious himself!)

And tomorrow morning Sherman is getting the snippity snip!! YAHOOOOO! A few day break from my annoying little brother! Many of you know Sherman and I don't get along very well so I am a little happy he'll get his "boys" snipped tomorrow, maybe I'll like him more when he's not so "manly"!

(Yes we have another thumb sucker!)

Ellers had her 4 month check up last week and is a whopping 15lbs and 25inches long. I know she's not that big but she's getting too big in my opinion. She still sleeps like a hibernating bear and is still eating plenty. I'm going to make her get a job soon to pay for her food, she's a little porker! But stinkin cute!
Reese and Lauren are doing well. We've had a few ups and downs with Reese at school but are trying to work with him to overcome his behavior issues. Lo is Lo, she's a nasty little sucker one minute and sweet as can be the next. Ryan thinks this is foretelling what she will be like as a teenager. I'm sure those of you with teenagers would say yes!! EEEESH, what are we going to do??!!
We hope all of our blogging friends and family are doing well! We're going to try and get a Christmas card out this year since we aren't moving and aren't going to Hawaii all within a week of each other!

Halloween

(Ryan: The Ghost of Firstline Past, Ellers: Our chubby sweet pea, Roo: Optimus Prime, Lo: A scary witch-even though she's not so scary. She had an awesome cackle to go with her costume!)
YAY it's over!! Just kidding. I love Halloween and fall but this year kind of kicked my butt! We decided to be a little more creative and make the kids costumes. Okay when you see the pictures do not think for one minute that I made Ellie's costume, I'm not talented in that way! And Trev I didn't try to one up you by putting the flower on her costume I had that idea when I first bought it a while ago!

So this year like all years past Reese wanted to be what every other little boy wants to be, the latest superhero or cool new movie costume. So we gave in but on our terms it had to be cooler! I googled homemade Optimus Prime costumes and quite a few came up. We took ideas from a few different pictures and started saving up boxes. Laurens costume was super easy and that was GREAT for me.

The day started off by getting the girls ready and going over to Reese's school for his Halloween parade. My dad came with us, thank goodness, he was such a big help. Reese didn't go to school in his get-up so I had to go and get him dressed. Of course when his class entered the gym who hits the door and breaks his costume, oh yeah that would be my child, yes he did not look like a cool Optimus Prime he was more like the frazzled broken one at the end of the movie!! :) When the parade was over we took him home to fix his costume so we could head to Ryan's work for trick or treating at his office. That was fun cause one of Ryan's co-workers made an Optimus Prime costume as well. Then after work trick or treating we came back here for the ward Trunk or Treating. So fun other than the fact that it started raining and it was slightly cold, no surprise its Utah! Then we came home and ate dinner and later went to my mom and dads. It was a very busy day but so much fun and the kids loved it.
