Happy Mothers Day

It was definitely an eventful Mothers Day this year.

Reese gave me his special surprises in the morning before church and it melted my heart! He's such a sweet boy, he always has been. He definitely made my morning. It was a good day!

It seems like every Mothers Day we have started a tradition and have a yummy King Crab leg dinner. It's at the request of my mudder and we love this idea! We've done it probably at least the last 2 Mothers Days. It's whatever my little mom wants. She works so hard she deserves to have whatever she wants!

Anyway I want to wish all the Mothers and special women in my life a Happy Mothers Day. I am definitely so grateful for my mom and all she's done for me in my life. Like I said before she works so hard and doesn't complain. She's an amazing strong woman. Ryan and I always say she's a silent rock! I love her so much and I'm so grateful they live in Utah so our kids can be close with them. And I can't forget Ryan's mom. I admire her most for her intelligence and strong spirit. I'm amazed at her knowledge of the gospel. re so glad we can have both of our parents close so our kids will be able to know their grandparents.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!

(Ryan and his mom, I love how happy they both are!)

(My Grandma Valadez and I-she passed away when I was a sophmore in high school!)

(My Grandpa and Grandma Okamoto, they were so stinkin cute!)

P.S. Funny note: While I'm preparing my Mothers Day lesson for Young Womans on Saturday night I'm sitting at the desk and hear a little yelp from my bathroom. Lauren is in there yelling at me saying, "Mommy can you come and help me wipe my butt, I poo poo'd!" Lovely, I LOVE MOTHERS DAY!!!

San Diego Trip

San Diego Trip

8 years and counting!

(The weekend we met for the first time!)

So we were gone for our 8 year anniversary this year, I'm a little late I know, but when am I not late! :)
(Our engagement picture)
Oh how time flys! And yes we're having fun as well! On May 4th we celebrated our 8 year anniversary. We were down in San Diego for the weekend with the kids and we had a blast. I seriously love San Diego weather, I could live there forever! We came home on our actual anniversary and Ryan scheduled a couples massage at our house right when we got back. And thanks to my parents we were able to go out to eat afterwards. It was a great anniversary. I'm not going to get all mushy and go on and on about him, he knows I love and adore him!! Here's some pictures to blast to the past!! No comments on how skinny we once were, and I know we look like we're 12!!
