Roo is 9!

Reese's birthday was almost a month ago and I took pictures but haven't had the time to blog it yet. He's such a sweet and thoughtful boy and we hope that doesn't fade with time.

On his birthday I took him a bouquet of balloons to his class and brought his treat for his classmates. Of course he loved that and it was fun to surprise him. When he was leaving school two 6th graders thought it would be funny to chase him out the double doors. When Reese's big 9 balloon got stuck these kids thought it would be funny to slam the door on his balloon and pop it. He was pretty upset when he came out the doors and I met up with him. He was on the verge of tears and our friends daughter who is in 6th grade was walking with him. Those kids were standing right next to us and so I turned around and had words with them and made them apologize to him. Nothing bad just thought I'd let them know how rude and despicable I thought their behavior was. Later on in the day I asked him how he was liking his birthday and he said, "Mom should I forget about what happened earlier?" Poor guy but I told him if he were ever in that position he would never do that to someone on their birthday and he agreed. He had his first night of going to his new Cub Scout group the Bears and afterwards we went to In-N-Out with Papa and Ahbee and Grandpa Fred and Grandma Debbie. Small but still fun!

We're so glad we got our little Roo to start our family off and be a big brother to all these drama queens! We know he'll be the best brother to them and we are so proud of how smart and fun he is. Happy Birthday our little Ootie!

Pretty pretties

I'm kind of over feeling completely guilty about not blogging everyday, every week, or heck even every month. So here is a non-guilt induced post.

I love my time with my Lolibell and our favorite past time is painting toes, well just me painting hers, I don't dare let her paint mine. I've always loved doing it for myself and figured out she loves to have her toes look pretty as well. I got the idea to do different colors for every toe from my twin Dana. She's way better at cute creative ideas then me and I'm the master of copying others. I figured Lauren may not want me to make her toes cutesy forever so here is our first post to remember our fun mommy/daughter moments! Here's to cute colorful toes and sparkley fingers!! :)
