"Were we good Mommy!"

On Monday for Family Home Evening Ryan suggested we take the kids to a new put-put golf place by our house called Liberty Land. Actually it isn't just mini golf it has "cool" rides for kids to go on. So Ryan told the kids they had to be good all day long on Monday, not fight and be extra helpful and nice otherwise their trip to Liberty Land would not happen! So ALL day long they would come up to me and ask if they were being good, good enough to go to Liberty Land. It got a little annoying when they would ask every hour but they were actually really well behaved on Monday!! Note I said Monday, JUST on Monday!!! Anyway the kids had a blast I wish we could afford to use Liberty Land as a way to keep them from fighting! Oh well!

On Sunday August 3 we, or Ryan blessed Ellie. So the day started out in true "Latecomer" fashion, many of you already know how extremely late Ellie and I were to sacrament meeting! Like 10 or 15 minutes late!! I know I know, oh well the world didn't end! Other than Ryan completely freaking out about how late I was the blessing was really beautiful and she did well of course. Cute side note, when Ryan was walking past the pulpit to come sit down at the exact moment he was in clear view of the congregation Ellie put up her left had and did a full on wave to everyone. It was hilarious! Here are some pictures of her in her blessing dress. And because I was running so late I don't have any pictures of us with her but who wants to see us anyway!

Nothing too exciting!

So not too much has been going on! I wanted to do a quick blog about the kids and their new sister Ellie. They have been excited to have a new sibling since the moment we told them we were pregnant. When the time got closer to Ellie being born we were a little worried about our princess Lauren. If any of you have been around Lo she is quite the drama queen or silent drama queen. It's hard to explain but we were worried about how she would react to having Ellie around and her stealing her glory. But needless to say Lo has done really well, they both have. Better than we thought. Reese is a really big helper and runs upstairs or wherever to get things for me. Lauren got to hold Ellie's bottle yesterday and you would have thought I gave the girl a million bucks, she was so elated! Reese is now allowed to pick up Ellie and does such a good job, he's so gentle and loving to his baby sister it makes my heart melt. Anyway here are some pictures of the kids with tiny Ellers. Oh and Ellers is a cute nickname Lo gave Ellie the first few days she was home. Loli was saying good morning to Ellie one morning and said, "Good morning Ellers the Bellers!" hilarious, she makes us laugh!

This is a sweet pillow I got from a good friend Cherry Rush. I have gotten a lot of really great gifts from friends and family and I have loved everyone of them. But this gift for some reason just really made me tear up, maybe because I'm a hormone mess right now, who knows! It's the sweetest and one of the most thoughtful gifts someone has given me and I appreciated it so much! Thanks again Cherry you're awesome!
