More Lyndi

I wish I could capture how cute and tiny she really is. She's such a sweet baby and I hate that she's going to get big! Well I won't hate when she's sleeping through the night but I will miss how tiny she is. Here's a few more I took of her yesterday. Love those little lips!

Lyndi Louisa

Well I guess it's about time I updated on the latest and cutest addition to our family. Lyndi Louisa was born last Wednesday on January 13th, 2 and half weeks early. It was a nice surprise, except the few days of laboring and the night of laboring at home, no fun I'd rather have my water break! I'll spare everyone the details of her delivery but basically it was super quick. We got into the hospital at 2:45am and she was born at 4:47am. Little missy just couldn't wait to join this crazy clan of Newcomers! :) She is an awesome baby, my best by far. I'm grateful she's such a sweet little thing, Ellie and her spit fire make it crazy enough around here. Thank you so much to everyone who helped us with the kids when she was born and the well wishes. We feel so blessed to have our 3rd little girl! Love to everyone!

Belated Christmas

We had a great time with the kids this year. We went to my parents house on Christmas Eve for my most favorite dinner ever, no pics I scarfed before I got a picture! That evening we read Twas the Night Before Christmas and did the obligatory Santa cookies and carrots. We usually do the scripture story but we did that a few days earlier so no "Mad Mary" picture of Lauren this year!!
Christmas morning we told the kids they couldn't go downstairs until they came and woke us up. They were so good about sleeping in a little bit so right on the dot at 8am they came into our room. Of course with the threatening of their lives they knew not to go downstairs! :) Anyway it was a good day and I'm sad it always goes by so fast. Hope everyone had a great Christmas and a wonderful New Year. Now the days are short before our little Lyndi makes her appearance. Love to everyone!

A little update

(Our Christmas tree, it's huge but smells so good! Ryan just had to have a 10 foot tree this year!)

(Ellie and Grandma Sprague. This was at Ryan's Grandma's 90th birthday. Ellers would only sit with Grandma and snuggle with her it was so sweet.)

(At the Festival of Trees they also have gingerbread houses. This is the one Platinum Protection donated and if you get your microscopes out Ryan did all the mini wreaths on the fence, he was pretty proud of himself!)

(Ode to my half Japanese heritage)

(Reese says this is the one he made but there were tons on the tree that were exactly the same, we'll just call this one the one he made!)

(Reese with the tree that all the second graders and teachers decorated and donated for the big festival of trees!)
I guess it's time to blog. I'm sure those that actually check my blog are bugged by the lack of posts. Honestly I'm in a slump with blogging and of course my butt goes numb everytime I sit at the computer on my uncomfortable chair. But here's a post of a few fun things we've done since the beginning of the month.
