Trip to Moab

This past weekend we had the priviledge of being invited down to Moab for a company retreat and this company is nice enough to invite kids and wives! So we took the opportunity cause we've never been down there and thought the kids would love it. Here are some pictures from our trip. We had a blast wondering around Arches National Park and got some great pictures.

We actually had a beautiful day here in Utah!!! YAY for the sun!!! The kids did a Easter Egg hunt in my parents front yard and had a blast. Lauren didn't catch on right away but as you can see in Reese's basket he caught on and found all the "boy" looking eggs. So all together our Easter Sunday was wonderful!

We actually had a beautiful day here in Utah!!! YAY for the sun!!! The kids did a Easter Egg hunt in my parents front yard and had a blast. Lauren got a bunch of kitchen stuff for her birthday, she's really into pretend play right now. So I thought she needed a cute apron to go along with her new kitchen!

Excuse the butt cheek hanging out, she LOVES to be in just her panties and this is how she usually is when we are at home. I thought this was cute cause she was talking to herself and pretending that she was arriving at someones house.
The up close of her obsession with this pair of shoes, I don't know why but she loves to wear them around the house!

So this is the reason we can't have anymore girls! Lauren has every bit of drama that comes with a girl and she is ALL girl when it comes to everything else. Here are some cute pictures of her. Don't worry Reese still exists but I don't get as many cute pictures of him cause he is usually at school or planted on the couch! I'll put in a few just to show you I love him as much as Lo! We hope everyone is doing well.

After putting the kids to bed one night last week we came back downstairs to probably catch up on a show or something and found this cute little sight in our baby swing we have set up.

They were having a cute conversation about Adam and Eve, Ryan's impromptu Family Home Evening. I love to watch these two together!

Cookie Grandma

The kids' Grandma Debbie, Ryan's mom has been down here in Utah for oh almost 2 months straight, maybe even more. Anyway the last two Saturday's she has been so nice to come and watch the kids while Ryan and I have gone out to dinner or gone to an adult ward party. So the past Saturday we came home and this is what their "Cookie Grandma" was doing with them. She's such an awesome grandma and the kids love her to pieces. Oh by the way they usually do make cookies with her just not in this picture, hence the name!

They were playing Junior Monopoly and I think Reese ended up winning!

Me&My Shuffle

Here's a dumb post but you know when you're a mom small things like this make you happy!! Right up there with Lauren not peeing in her panties and Reese not picking his nose!! :) So way back when I started packing up the townhouse for our "quick" move, ha yeah right what a joke, I packed away my Ipod shuffle dock. With a lot of stuff I packed I forgot where I put things, my brain was probably one of those items. Now that everything is here at the new house I have yet to find my shuffle dock so I can charge my little shuffle. Ryan got this little silver thing of joy for me 2 Christmas's ago and I have loved it since he got it for me. If anyway knows me I don't jog or work out but love this little thing to listen to while I'm showering and getting ready or running errands in the car. So yay for getting a new shuffle dock and having my music back to drown out the screams!!! :)

ULTRASOUND!!

Sorry I didn't post yesterday it was a long day!! Our appointment was at 11am and was much shorter than the other 2 kids'. Anyway it was fun seeing the new little one squirming around. The ultrasound tech did all the necessary checks and the baby is right on target and looking great. Now you are wondering what the sex is! Well I think this baby's cousin (Randy and Rebecca's) had a secret meeting to be little stubborn things and not show what they are, just for the fun of it! The ultrasound tech tried to see at the beginning of the appointment and looked so quickly I couldn't tell right away. Then later on he spent some time trying to figure out the sex of the baby. I saw a "nub" right away but not a very big one. BUT he also didn't see all the necessary girly parts either. So this is the final conclusion... We don't know for sure if it's a boy or girl. The guy said it could either be a boy that hasn't popped out all the way or a girl. He said that when he has seen that little itty bitty nub that it ended up being a girl. Who the heck knows!! So at my next appointment we are going to try again to figure out for sure if this baby is a boy or a girl. I still think it's a boy since this pregnancy has been so much like Reese's and the baby's heart rate is more like Reese's. Anyway we thought we'd let everyone know the update! All that matters to us is that the baby is perfectly normal and healthy, which we are so excited about! I'll try to get the ultra sound pictures scanned and up here soon! Love to everyone!

Random Info

Well last night I was on the phone with Ryan, he's in Texas, and he nicely mentioned I should do another blog and that the last one was old! So here is a random thoughts blog since I really don't like blogging about nothing since really nothing is going on right now. Well there are some things going on but I wouldn't blog about them. Oh and I'm going to be blogging about something important in the next few days since my ultrasound is scheduled for Thursday morning! WOO HOO!! Anyway so here are my random thoughts...
I HATE this friggin wind where we live. As I type I can hear the gale force winds blowing outside, a sound we have become familiar with but that also completely annoys me! On Saturday the wind started kicking up again, for like the 5th time since we've lived here the last 3 months. I'm sure you're all thinking no big deal but those of you who have lived in tornado country or have lived in So. Cal during the Santa Ana winds would know what I'm talking about. For instance the wind on Saturday was HORRIBLE! Here's my story of how much I hate this wind!! Our trash day is Friday and usually Ryan gets the bins out early enough but we have realized we have an insane early morning but crack of dawn trash man. Like before 8am kind of guy! Anyway so needless to say our trash didn't get picked up because Ryan put it out before 9am and the rest of the neighborhood was already picked up. So in all of Ryan's brilliance he thought he could show the trash guys he was smarter and leave the trash can out until NEXT Friday. Like I said the winds picked up around here on Saturday afternoon and got up to about 40-50 mile/hour. Saturday Ryan had noticed our trash can still sitting by the side of the road but by Saturday night when we came home from a date the trash can was mysteriously missing. Who would want to steal a full trash can? Then we thought, oh crap the wind picked it up. What freaky kind of tornado wind would be able to pick up our full trash can and carry it so far we were unable to find it? Yes Ryan and I drove around our neighborhood trying to find that not so small grass green trash can and did not have any luck. In the morning we found it a block away nestled up against a pile of dirt from a foundation that's being dug. Note: There was longer any trash in our trash can! :) hehehe Like I said I'm so friggin sick of this wind it makes me majorly annoyed! Oh and here's another thing, Ryan bought this compost pyramid thing made out of hard plastic a few weeks ago. He finally was able to put it together and started loading in our fruit and veggie trashy's. He had it just on the other side of our stairs at the back door. While watching the wind pick up on Saturday afternoon I realized the compost thing was no longer in it's spot. Yet again this stupid tornado wind picked up Ryan's not so cheap composter and blew it so hard into the wrought iron fence to the side of our house it smashed it into pieces. Poor Ryan didn't have very good luck on Saturday! So hear are my ramblings for the day! Love to all!!!
